I had a friend that came to visit me a few months ago, and expressed disgust that my desk didn't have soft toys on it "like all good geekgirls desks should".

Soon after this, I was given "Bop" - a hedgehog with a huge nose (and hard bit on the end) with "you make my spines tingle" written across his tummy. He now has pride of place on my monitor.

On Father's Day I was given Janis (Joplin) by my friend Linda. Janis is a rainbow coloured hippy bear, with "In the 60's a star was born" on her tummy. She now sits next to Bop (there's room because the monitor is a 19").
